About DisruptED

The education landscape has become increasingly challenging as the growing influence of technological disruption and globalisation have propelled governments and educators to rethink and shift their priorities in education. Amongst all the underlying issues raised, the most contentious question of all remains to be – How must education adapt, evolve and challenge the status quo to create systems of excellence that will be embraced by our learners and in turn, better prepare them for a future blended workforce.

Following its successful debut in February 2018, this second edition of the DisruptED forum will now centre its discussion on disruptions in workspace and education. From identifying trends to automation to manufacturing and medical advances, AI is already disrupting how we work. The cultivation of this new mind-set and technology is occurring rapidly as the potential of the use of AI lies far beyond the rudimentary improvements and should be scaled to offer more complex suggestions in the future. In recent years, AI has also raised many questions on what it means to be living in an AI first world.

The experts will delve into the world of AI, beyond the philosophical, towards practical business applications of a technology frequently underrepresented.

At the DisruptED forum, be at the forefront as we explore the kinds of environments tomorrow’s workforce will inhabit, and establish new ways and means of accelerating businesses and the role of higher education.
