SIM Incandescence Crowned Chingay Champions

SIM Incandescence, the SIM’s Chingay 2012 dance contingent has been crowned Champions of the National Travelling Dance Competition segment of Chingay 2012! Credit must go to the 43-member SIM Incandescence and the 6 dance captains from SIM DreamWerkz for their tireless efforts over the last 6 months. Chingay 2012 was unforgettable and challenging, as we had to perform in a 360m long waterway, a first for Chingay in its 40-year history.

For the first time in Chingay’s 40-year history, the parade was held in water. Here’s us making a splash!

We received our trophy at an appreciation dinner event held at the People Association’s Headquarters on 28^th February 2012. SIM Incandescence won the award against 11 other teams in the competition.
