Set new standards, SIM – UOS graduates urged

87 graduands received their Bachelor of Nursing (Post-Registration) degree scrolls at the SIM-University of Sydney graduation ceremony on 4 September.

At the ceremony, Ms Belinda Hutchinson AM, Chancellor, the University of Sydney and Mr George Thia, Member, SIM Governing Council, addressed the graduands.

George Thia recognised the achievements of the graduating cohort and said, “I am confident that you are now better equipped to step up to the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. With your passion and dedication, I encourage you to continue to push the boundaries of the nursing practice and set new standards of excellence, individually in your own area of work, and collectively, in your field.”

SIM-UOS partnership is currently in its 21st year, and some 2500 alumni have benefited from the SIM-UOS nursing programme.
