People’s Choice for Best Private School

For the fifth year running, SIM GE has been picked as best private school by AsiaOne readers. With this win, SIM GE now enters the Hall of Fame at AsiaOne People's Choice Awards ceremony on April 23, 2013.

Winners are based on votes cast by more than 180,000 AsiaOne readers for the 200 nominees vying for the 27 award categories. MDIS and Kaplan emerged runners-up in the Best Private School category.


MERCURY awards 2011/2012

SIM Global Education clinched two international awards this year under the 2011/12 MERCURY Excellence Awards. The two are:

Bronze for SIM Students Blogging Project

Promotion/Marketing: Awareness Campaigns
Honours for "Bring Out Your Best at SIM" Campaign

The MERCURY competition is unique in that each entry is judged against itself to the degree that the individual entry achieves its intended purpose. Judging is based not on budget, but on the values of creativity, effectiveness, performance and success as symbolised by the MERCURY Awards.

Reni L. Witt, president of the Mercury Awards, said: “For a quarter of a century, the awards have celebrated the creative professionals whose exceptional intelligence, innovation, hard work, creativity and style have made a difference in this industry. The competition remains unique. It is the world’s only independent awards organisation.”

Bronze in iNOVA 2011

iNOVA 2011 is an international award to recognise and promote achievement in creative design, written content and performance of corporate Web sites. Judges are professional Web designers, creative directors, and chief executives of creative agencies from the US, Canada, Europe, Hong Kong and Australia

Education excellence

SIM Global Education won the Web Awards for Education Standard of Excellence 2011.

Web sites were judged on seven criteria: design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copy-writing and ease of use. Each entry was judged against other entries in its industry category and then against an overall standard of excellence.

One of the judges’ comments: "The SIM Group Global Education Web site is attractive to a wide range of audiences, from youths to working professionals."

Best education experience

SIM GE is one of three finalists in the Singapore Experience Awards 2010 & 2011 for Best Education Experience. This recognition by the Singapore Tourism Board affirmed SIM GE’s commitment to offering one of the best education experiences in Singapore via VIBES@SIM.

Preferred private education institution for job-seekers

According to online job-search Web site, JobsCentral, SIM GE is the most preferred private education institution for three years running, from 2009 to 2011.

EduTrust certification

SIM was awarded the Edutrust certification by the Council for Private Education in May 2010. We were also among the first private educational institutions to be registered under the council’s mandatory Enhanced Registration Framework.
